- While a PEN based pointing device is preferred for rapid data entry, a PEN is not required.

- Yes. IBM ViaVoice and Dragon Naturally Speaking are the most frequently used by our clients.

May I customize the standard words and phrases?
- Yes, one of Turbo-Doc's strong points is that it readily accepts extensive customization. In the multi-user environment, multiple physicians may CUSTOMIZE TURBO-DOC INDIVIDUALLY. Use
your own words and phrases. Even through Turbo-Doc includes varied words and phrases related to the specialty, the physician has the option to add their words or delete any words or phrases included
with the program.

How long is the learning curve?
- Most physicians can create multiple patient records with in a few minutes of working with Turbo-Doc. On average most users are
fully comfortable with the program with in two to four weeks.
The screens are very intuitive and the
flow is straight forward.

May Turbo-Doc be used by multiple users at the same time?
- Yes. One of the advantages of an electronic medical record is that multiple users can have simultaneous access to the chart. Your billing clerk can be looking up coding questions, your nurse can
be making phone calls and you can be completing encounter notes at the same time. With out pulling
cumbersome paper charts out of your record room!

Can Turbo-Doc be used on a Network? If so, which types?
- Yes. Novell, Windows Peer to Peer and Windows NT,
Windows Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003. We also have many clients using Wireless LANs.

How is Turbo-Doc registered or licensed?
- We require only the health care provider who signs off on the chart to be licensed. Ancillary staff may enter data and use the system on their computers under the above registered license. For
example, when a physician purchases the program, they will be signing off on the charts. Their secretaries and nurses may use Turbo-Doc under this registered version with out charge. If a second
provider joins the group and will be creating documents, that person would also need to purchase a registered version of Turbo-Doc for themselves.

May I fax documents from Turbo-Doc?
- Yes, you may use optional fax software to fax directly from
within Turbo-Doc.

Are there any optional databases available to use with Turbo-Doc?
- Yes, you may add a variety of Windows based databases to assist you in patient care. More common databases include the Medical Letter's Drug Interaction program, Physician GenRX Medication Database,
Fast Code and Medi-Code ICD9 and CPT Code databases. Turbo-Doc allows you select your favorite optional databases. If they are Windows based programs you can usually run these databases from
INSIDE Turbo-Doc with a single keystroke.

Does Turbo-Doc offer TEMPLATE charting? Are these customizable?
Turbo-Doc includes predefined templates for many disease
systems. They are the quickest way to complete a History and Physical. Using the PEN or MOUSE the physician simply selects the yes or no box on the screen. Positive and negative
descriptions are presented to further describe the selected area. These may be customized to allow rapid and accurate data entry by the physician as well as ancillary staff.

Can more than one provider access or view the chart at the same time?
- Yes, this is one of the benefits of an electronic medical record. Your billing clerk can be looking up patient charges, your nurse can be making phone calls from the chart while the physician is
completing chart, all without pulling a physical
paper chart from the chart room.

Can I write prescriptions and lab requests from with in Turbo-Doc?
- Yes, these may also be faxed. Patient medication and lab test tracking is integrated into each patient record. When a new medication is prescribed it is appended to the medication history and
saved. Lab tests are also tracked.

Can I scan in my current and old records?
- Yes, using the optional Turbo-Doc scanning module.

Can Patient Education forms be printed?
- Turbo-Doc includes a collection of sample standard patient education forms which may be used or add/edit your own. The patient education section of Turbo-Doc gives the physician a free form area where
they can store additional educational and risk forms. One or more of these forms
may be selected for printing and distribution to the patient.

Which types of print outs may be printed from Turbo-Doc?
Can I draw pictures with Turbo-Doc?
- Yes, Turbo-Doc allows pictures, photographs, ultrasound images to be added to the Medical Record with the doctors annotations and notes added. Turbo-Doc includes professionally drawn pictures. Your drawings and annotations become
a permanent part of the patient record. These may also be brought forward for future reference in the chart.

Is Turbo-Doc transportable?
- Yes, Turbo-Doc runs great on small laptop computers. The doctors may have their patient records at home, the ER or a second office. Updates and changes made while you are away from your main
office computer will automatically be updated and added to your office
computer when logging back on to the system.
TurboDoc also runs on the Palm and the Pocket PC PDA.
